Two ignition interlock device installers are approved by the state of Florida.

Florida only has two vendors that are approved to install ignition interlock breathalyzers in the state. Further, one of the ignition interlock installation companies must be used depending on the county in Florida.

Interlock Group of Florida, of Lifesafer Interlock Inc., is the Florida approved ignition interlock provider for the counties in North Florida. These counties include:  Alachua, Baker, Bay, Bradford, Calhoun, Citrus, Clay, Columbia, Dixie, Duval, Escambia, Flagler, Franklin, Gadsden, Gilchrist, Gulf, Hamilton, Hernando, Holmes, Jackson, Jefferson, Lafayette, Lake, Leon, Levy, Liberty, Madison, Marion, Nassau, Okaloosa, Putnam, Santa Rosa, St. Johns, Sumter, Suwannee, Taylor, Union, Volusia, Walton, and Washington. The southern counties of Florida are covered by Interlock Systems of Florida, a part of Alcohol Countermeasure Systems Corp., for ignition interlock installation and maintenance. The counties covered by Interlock Systems of Florida include:  Brevard, Broward, Charlotte, Collier, Dade, Desoto, Glades, Hardee, Hendree, Highlands, Hillsborough, Indian River, Manatee, Martin, Monroe, Okeechobee, Orange, Osceola, Palm Beach, Pasco, Pinellas, Polk, Sarasota, Seminole, and St. Lucie.
