California allows for a restricted license to be obtained by DUI offenders after completion of half of their license suspension or revocation has been served. One of the requirements to obtain the California restricted license is the installation of an ignition interlock device (IID). An IID requires the driver to pass an alcohol breath test before the vehicle will start and requires rolling tests while the car is being driven.
California has approved of the following ignition interlock device providers. This list may be subject to change but you can use the contact information below to find ignition interlock installers in your area that have been approved by California.
